Through the Spotting Scope: Sparrows

Canoa Ranch • 5375 South I-19 Frontage Rd Green ValleyAZ  85614 Organized by PCNRPR (Pima County Natural Resources Parks and Recreation)

About this event

Description

Sparrows are sometimes known as ‘little brown jobs’ by frustrated birders who cannot seem to make sense of the field identification of these delightful birds. In the Zoom presentation (Tuesday, December 14), sparrow identification tips will be presented that will help birders gain confidence in recognizing the many species. We’ll put these tips into practice in the field study session that follows.

Meet at Historic Canoa Ranch, 5375 S. I-19 Frontage Road, Green Valley 85622. After searching for sparrows here, we will caravan to other sites.

Zoom Presentation Date and Time: Tuesday, December 14, from 7:00-9:00 pm [Zoom link given with registration confirmation]

Un-vaccinated individuals are asked to wear a mask. Group size strictly limited. No walk-ins accepted.
