About this event
Did you know that speech and debate are actually two distinct areas of study? Well, during this summer course, The Golden State Academy will tackle both disciplines. Students will have the opportunity to work with both state and nationally renowned coaches. Our goal is to ensure that students break out of their shell and feel confident when speaking in front of a crowd. Additionally, we teach important concepts that will increase their ability to stay engaging and professional while speaking. Students will be introduced to prepared and unprepared speech and debate formats during the course of this program. The program is geared towards beginners but students with limited speech and debate experience are encouraged to join! Grades Offered: Grades 3–5 Program Length: 1 Week Long Time: 12:30 PM–3:30 PM Price: $630
