Description
Beginning Sculpture is an introduction to sculptural concepts and processes. It is a studio work, focused on hands-on learning, critical thinking, and group dialog. The class will include hands on demos, group discussions and critiques. The class is built upon designing a basic armature using 16-gauge aluminum sculpture wire from your drawing of the “model”. Learning the proportions of a form and building an air-dried clay figure. One does not have to copy the “model”, it is used as a guide. Let your imagination go free.
A $40 materials fee is due to instructor at the first class.
