Description
Join us for the inaugural summer mountain bike race series at Genesee Mountain Park! This fun and relaxed race will take place over the course of three Monday evenings. Varied start times for your convenience! Beginners are welcome and there will be two course distances utilizing the Genesee Mountain trail (one or two laps) - short course of approximately 4 miles with 450' of elevation gain and long course of approximately 8 miles with 900' of elevation gain. Prizes will be awarded to fastest finisher each week in each division and to overall fastest series finisher in each division. The last evening will include a festive atmosphere with music, food and fun for the family! Youth division (8-12) is short course only. Must be ready to start racing promptly at 4:45 PM. Please note, this race is intended to be fun and welcoming for all - positive attitudes, friendliness and patience should be exercised by all racers.
CANCELLATIONS: If Outdoor Recreation cancels the trip due to inclement weather, lack of participants, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the participants will receive a full REFUND.
REFUNDS: 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels the registration 15 days in advance, a full REFUND will be given. LESS THAN 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels registration less than 15 days in advance, NO CREDIT OR REFUND will be given. APPEAL: If a participant experiences a serious illness or loss that prevents their attendance that requires special consideration, an appeal can be submitted to the Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation for review.
