This class will discuss different aspects of Probate Court, specifically guardianships and conservatorships for adults and children. We will cover the differences between guardianships and conservatorships and when they would be used for adults, children, and people with mental illnesses or disabilities. We will also cover how these may interact with Family Court issues, such as custody, parenting time, child support, and adoption. Elizabeth is an attorney in private practice in Mount Clemens. She is a general practitioner with a focus on family law, estate planning, and probate matters (estates, guardianships, conservatorships).
