Belly dance is a low impact dance that has been enjoyed and celebrated by many people of all ages and is a great exercise for dancers and non-dancers alike. Belly dance is a great workout for people who want to improve their flexibility, core strength, and movement fluidity. No previous dance experience is required. This class will focus on the basic movements and is a wonderful introduction to the art form. Attendees will walk away from this class knowing proper body posture, basic body isolations of the chest and hips, arm pathways, and simple foot patterns.
