Maestro James Domine, music director of the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra will lead the class in a curated encyclical compendium through the history of American Musical Theater from its origins in the Vaudeville and ethnic theaters of New York City in the early 20th century through the Broadway shows of the 40s, 50s & 1960s. Weekly lectures will explore specifically selected examples from the repertoire.
