Dates: Feb 18 Instructor: Amanda Morales In this one night workshop, students learn the basics of extracting color from plants for accessible and sustainable naturally-dyed fabric. We'll explore the Bundle Dyeing technique of directly imprinting fabric with the petals, leaves, and roots of dye plants to create beautiful patterns. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring along some light colored natural fabrics to experiment with (cotton, linen, wool, etc)! The After Workshops are a series of high quality hands-on classes, at low cost and low commitment. Materials, skills and fun supplied. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime!
