Weaving: All Levels
Instructor: Susan Lolli
Learn to weave on traditional floor looms on your own, with the guidance of the instructor.
Beginning students will start with the basics of threading a floor loom and setting it up
for weaving. Various patterns and weave structures will be explored. The instructor will
introduce the use of various materials, and nurture students’ creativity through the art
of weaving. (Note: This is not a “tapestry” class.)

Yarns for Beginning Weavers:
THICK COTTON YARNS work best for weaving a beginning sample. The only brand
that is available is the Sugar and Cream brand at Joann Fabrics (use a 40% off
coupon) or Michaels. Get your color of choice, either one cone or few small balls
of yarn.
