Running With The Pack 5K

The 3rd Annual Running with the Pack 5K is a fun yet challenging road and trail course. Hosted by the Currituck County Cooperative Extension and run by the local Scout Troop 127, it begins and ends on local roads but travels off road moving past Camp Maple (camping location of Albemarle District, Scout camp) past serpentine retention ponds and back to the Extension building. All proceeds for the event donated to Scout Troop and Pack 127. The finish medal is a hand crafted one-of-a-kind creation cast in recycled metal and created specifically for this event. There are only 150 made so don’t delay in registration because supplies are limited.

- Friday 5/19/23
- (6:00 pm) early packet pick up at YMCA
- Saturday 5/20/23
- 6:30 am packet pick up.
- 8:00 am race begins.
- 10:00 am sweeper is coming for you.
- Course info
- Start in front of Cooperative Extension Building
- Out and back course with paved, gravel and grassy areas
- Be aware of vehicular traffic while on the roads

- Parking is available at and around the YMCA and Currituck Cooperative Extension Building
