About this event
Mexican folk culture is full of spirited music, lively dance, colorful art, catchy stories & rhymes, and tasty food! We will explore all these together. So bring a willing attitude, feet ready to move, and hands eager to create. We're going to have a blast learning and participating in all these amazing folk activities! Liz Morgan enjoys teaching children so much she has done it for 36 years. She loves Mexican culture and was partially raised by grandparents in Latin America. She speaks fluent Spanish, received 2 degrees from UT Austin with an emphasis in bilingual education, enjoys Mexican folk art so much she fills her house with it, and danced several years with the Ballet Folklorico de Puebla (a state in Mexico) and Roy Lozano's Ballet Folklorico in Austin.
