About this event
This is the last in a series of three courses on the pedagogical instructional technique referred to as Problem Based Learning (PBL) utilizing real-world scenarios to engage students in the process of learning. In this course, we focus on preparation, getting your class ready to be the drivers of their learning experience! We explore quick techniques to prepare your students to be inquiry-minded, developing their own questions and explorations. We focus on collaboration and consensus-building, developing students' ability to identify a problem from text or video examples, as well as being able to accept that some problems don't come with a singular answer. Lastly, we explore how to incorporate assessments into your PBL unit.
