Collage of Dreams, Memories, or Wishes Workshop/ Monika Ruiz

In this hands-on, heart-led workshop, we’ll create deeply personal collages—artworks that speak through layers of memory, longing, and imagination. Whether you’re crafting a gift or making something just for you, this is a space to explore what matters most using found and cherished materials. Bring anything that resonates with you – photos, fabric, lace, wrappers, stamps, jewelry pieces, thread, decorative papers, magazines, Japanese papers, patterns, or small tokens. I will provide gentle guidance as you build your piece, layer by layer. I suggest planning for a collage less than 11" x 14"
No experience needed, just a willingness to explore. Come ready to cut, glue, stitch, and share a joyful atmosphere of curiosity and care.

REFUND POLICY:

To receive a refund, students must submit their request at least 2 weeks before the first class. No refunds or transfers are guaranteed after this time. To withdraw from a class, you are required to email ChastainArts@AtlantaGA.gov and include your name, the class name, and your reason for withdrawal. The option to accept an account credit for the class withdrawal is preferred.

If a withdrawal/refund is requested after 2 weeks prior to or after the class has begun, a $30 administration fee will be deducted and only an account credit will be processed to be used for future class registrations, clay purchases, and future purchases in our gift shop & gallery. If a class has begun at minimum enrollment, we cannot process refunds or credits after the first class has already started. If you register for a class after the session has begun, only an account credit will be processed if a withdrawal is requested. Anyone registered for a figure class with a model will be required to pay the model fee on the first day of class with cash or check to the instructor. Even if you request a withdrawal after the first day of class, you will be required to pay the model fee calculated based on enrollment on the first-class meeting. The Chastain Arts Center is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences. Please discuss any unavoidable absences with your instructor.
