About this event
Learn the most well-known traditional calligraphy style, Copperplate. This style was invented in the 17th century and was traditionally created by engraving the letters into copper plates. In this 3-week course, you will learn the fundamentals of how to write letters in copperplate calligraphy. We will go over the basic strokes that create our letter forms, how to write all of the letter forms step by step, and lastly how to connect all of our letters into words. Basic knowledge of how to use a pointed pen and nib is recommended to take this course. This is a beginner/intermediate class. Please check your registration receipt for a link to the supply list.
