The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which adults enter into full communion with the Catholic Church. This includes people from a variety of backgrounds: the unbaptized; those baptized in another Christian community; or even those baptized Catholic who wish to receive Confirmation and their First Communion. Currently, formation will take place primarily virtually, with a weekly written lesson and accompanying video. Periodic group sessions via Zoom will also be scheduled. Occasional individual meetings with the Director of Faith Formation will be required as well. The length of the process depends upon one's own spiritual progress, and which sacraments they need to receive.
