Tai Chi is a martial art that utilizes gentle, flowing movements to enhance health in the mind & body. This class will be designed for beginner & intermediate level students to learn and practice some simple Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements including the 8 form and the 24 Yang Short form. The emphasis will be on the underlying principles of Tai Chi such as posture, balance, proper breathing and relaxation. Tai Chi is the #1 exercise for fall prevention in adults 65+ and has numerous other well documented benefits. Come and enjoy the the health benefits and have fun doing it!
