Description
Unleash your creativity and fall in love with painting! In this class, you'll learn helpful techniques and tips as you explore the joy of abstract painting. Each session will begin with a demonstration, followed by personalized guidance as you work on your own artwork. New and experienced painters are welcome.
Student will bring their supplies:
Brushes (synthetic): 1 large (2-3 inches), 1-2 medium, small flat brushes, any other(s)
Acrylic paint: White, black, brown, red, yellow, blue, any colors you are fond of
One canvas for each session, any size from 16" minimum to 48" maximum on the longest side. Bring a 16 by 20 at first session and we will discuss sizes in class.
Medium (optional): A small container of gloss or matte medium, any brand (you may also use only water as your medium and skip the medium).
Paint palette: e.g. paper palette pad, Sta-wet palette, aluminum foil, or other flat surface
Texture-making objects such as a comb, rubber spatula, pottery tools
