About this event
Last year, we established our first society for students in grades 8-12: Baylor TIP's Student Advisory Council. A small number of students were invited to be our founding members, and we couldn't be more grateful to them for the valuable input and ideas they provided for the future development of Baylor TIP! They recommended courses, reviewed our website and our summer catalogue, designed t-shirts, and served as ambassadors during our 7th-Grade Recognition Ceremony and our summer programs. This year, we are excited to open membership to all TIP students in grades 8-12 who have participated in our programming and are interested in further developing their leadership skills. Interested students should submit the application form, along with a $25 application fee, by August 25 at midnight. (Students can request a fee waiver for financial reasons by emailing baylortip@baylor.edu.) We will review all of the applications and notify all applicants of the admission decision on August 28. At that time, all of the members will be polled to help us determine our first virtual meeting date. We do our best to work around our members' schedules. Meetings are held virtually and via email, and all in-person opportunities are optional. There is no fee to join once admitted, although some optional activities may include a small fee to help us cover the costs. https://bit.ly/TIPAdvisoryCouncil
