WARM WATER HULI RECOVERY ONLY (OC6, OC1, Surfski) Date & Time: January 18, 2025 Location: Vancouver Aquatic Center (1050 Beach Ave. Vancouver, BC V6E 1T7) Due to the cold weather and water within the Creek, Huli recovery sessions will be held in a pool setting instead. This is a warm, controlled setting so it's encouraged to try a few different ways to recover from a huli. The canoes available to do hulis in are: - OC1's: 1 Clion and 1 Mito - OC6's: 1 Spec & 1 Matahina - 1 Surfski NOTE: This is ONLY the huli portion, no rigging or technique. Paddlers must still take the required orientations and/or courses to be fully able to access club boats! The session goes over the proper techniques of a Huli Recovery in a pool, where the environment is controlled and warm. IMPORTANT!! ★ Gear - Please wear CLEAN paddle clothes that you would normally wear for a regular paddle session. Your PFD, booties (if worn), paddle, and other gear MUST BE CLEAN AND DEBRIS FREE! This will be checked by the coaches before entering the pool setting! CAPACITY: 40 participants
