2025 Steamboat Challenge!

The 2025 Steamboat Challenge is back in beautiful Tuscola, Texas. The 5k, 10K and Half Marathon begin in Tuscola, Texas at the Jim Ned Intermediate School Campus. The out and back courses carry you over several challenging hills with a beautiful view at the top of Steamboat Mountain. Both races will be chip timed and results will be posted online. Don't miss out on this challenge! Race begins at 7:30 AM.
The new Half Marathon Relay will have the first leg runner starting the race and running up to top of Steamboat, while the 2nd leg runner will start from the top of Steamboat and run to the Finish in Tuscola.
Packet Pick Up will be Friday, March 28 from 12:00 Noon - 6 PM at Abilene Running Co. located at 2654 Industrial Blvd.
Event details and schedule
The race begins at 7:30 a.m. Both courses start in Tuscola. The Half Marathon and 10K are out and back courses. Packet pickup will be Friday, March 28th from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Abilene Running Company, 2654 Industrial Blvd, Abilene, Texas 79605.
Course time limit: 4:30:00
