Guest Chef Tanya Holland Cooking Classes Join award winning chef, author and restaurateur Tanya Holland for two special cooking classes featuring recipes from her latest cookbook California Soul, Recipes from a Culinary Journey West. Based in Oakland, California, Tanya has received accolades from the New York Times for representing “a new generation of Black chefs and cookbook authors … reinventing, reinterpreting and reinvigorating what’s thought of as African American food.” Acclaimed for her inventive take on modern soul food, as well as comfort classics, for her Ah Haa classes, Tanya will take full advantage of the Telluride region’s fresh seasonal produce to teach her approach to modern soul food. Specific details on the class curriculum and menus for each class will be announced soon. Participants are welcome to sign up for one or both classes.
