About this event
Did you know that at UBC alone there are 14 different types of Engineering you can study? From building bridges, to inventing cutting edge medical technology, to designing the websites you use every day- the impact of engineers is all around us! We’ve skillfully engineered a week-long adventure where we’ll dive into the different types of engineering and explore the possibilities of design and ingenuity. Join this camp if you’re not sure where to start, or if you’re interested in a broader scoping introductory experience in Engineering! This program is intended for participants entering Grade 6 and 7 in September 2024. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7).
