Western Frontier Camp Come spend the week as if you were transported to a western frontier town. Your group will become immersed in the culture of the old west as you pan for gold, make candles, and have a special lunch cookout. We will embark on a field trip to the Roaring Camp Railroad where we will take a ride thru the Redwood Forest on a narrow-gauge steam train. This Field Trip is included: Redwood Forest Steam Train Sign up for Western Frontier Camp and take a ride at Roaring Camp Railroad. Travel over trestles, through towering redwood groves and up a winding narrow-gauge grade to the summit of Bear Mountain as conductors narrate the history of Roaring Camp, the railroad and the forest. In addition to the train trip, campers will make their own candles. Price: $700 Grades: 1-3 Week 1: June 9-13 (8:30 AM to 3:30 PM)
