Description
Forest Grove. These two wetlands are important stopover areas for wintering waterfowl and migrating birds traveling the Pacific Flyway. They are each designated as an Important Bird Area by the Oregon Bird Alliance. You will have a chance to see a variety of waterfowl species, flocks of migrating songbirds, herons, egrets, bald eagles, and shorebirds foraging on the mudflats.
Departure is from the Bob Keefer Center-250 S32nd. St. Dress for the weather and walking on uneven ground.
