Description
Go a little nutty and learn all about our favorite furry backyard buddy, the squirrel! As we hike through Hammel Woods, you’ll learn all about these fluffy-tailed friends and the role they play in nature and the environment. We’ll search for them in the forest and try our hand at some tricky squirrel nest construction. You wal-nut believe how hard it is!
Be sure to dress for the weather as the entire program is outdoors. The hike will be less than 1 mile alternating between paved and natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Please meet at Hidden Shelter.
