Good for 20 entries (lap or recreational swimming) to the Swim Center. Santa Monica Resident Rate: Proof of current Santa Monica residency is required upon purchase, renewal, and at least annually. A current utility bill along with photo ID may be emailed to aquatics.mailbox@santamonica.gov or presented at the Swim Center front desk. A valid Pass allows online reservations for weekday afternoon lap swimming to be made (up to 4 days in advance for SM residents/ 3 days in advance for non-residents). Same-day phone reservations are available 8:15am-10:00am. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance in-person, over the phone, or via email. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will still be charged for a swim. Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Passes may not be shared, scanned/used. or assigned to more than one person. Credit Card and E-check Convenience Fee Update. On October 27, 2020, the Santa Monica City Council adopted a resolution to pass off credit card / debit card convenience fees from the credit card processor to the customer. These convenience fees were previously absorbed by the City, with ActiveNet convenience fees set at 2.95% of the amount of the transaction. This change took effect on January 1, 2021. To help mitigate any financial burden that could result from transferring debit/credit card transaction fees to the community, the City has enabled the option of making payments by electronic check as an alternative to debit/credit card payments. The City will continue to absorb the minimal fees associated with these types of transactions.
