The inaugural race of this kind in the WCCTC. Designed to be inclusive and accessible for athletes of all skill levels, but limited to collegiate only racers at this time. Unlike more traditional high-stakes races, this one emphasizes participation and enjoyment, offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The low-stakes nature of the race encourages beginners and seasoned racers alike to compete without the pressure of intense competition, making it an excellent opportunity for newcomers to get a taste of draft-legal racing.
Racers are organized into small waves, which helps manage the flow of the event and ensures that everyone gets ample opportunity to participate. The super sprint format which is shorter and more intense than our usual races, allows participants to race multiple times throughout the morning. This repetition not only adds to the fun but also provides racers with the chance to improve their performance with each successive attempt.
