This group is for adults with cognitive impairments. It is designed to increase leisure independence, community functioning and build social skills through experiential opportunities within the community and at recreation centers.

The City of San Diego, Parks and Recreation Department, Therapeutic Recreation Services, provides therapeutic programs for children and adults with any type of disability. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) work with participants on social and recreational skill development, leisure education, appropriate behavior, and recreation participation in inclusive environments.
