In support of older adults and healthy aging, take a hike with Stockton Recreation Center at Potato Chip Rock in Lake Poway. This a great opportunity for older adults to expand their fitness goals on a popular hiking trail located in San Diego County, California. The trail is known for its moderately steep ascent, scenic views of the surrounding mountains, and of course, the iconic Potato Chip Rock at the summit. The trail is approximately 7.5 miles round trip, and while it can be challenging, the reward at the top makes it all worth it. Potato Chip Rock is a unique geological formation that juts out from the mountain, resembling a potato chip, and offers stunning views of the area. This hike is a must-do for anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding adventure in San Diego.
