GSNI Annual Fishing Derby Family Sun, September 22, 2024 7 a.m.–12:30 p.m. 302 W. Main St, Rockton, IL 61072 $5/Youth; additional $2/patch Register by September 10, 2024 Bring your Girl Scout fishing! Join us for a day of fishing fun and compete for prizes and trophies! This event is sponsored by GSNI Mariner Ship 3361. All Girl Scouts, non-Girl Scouts, and families are welcome! Derby runs from 7 a.m.–12:30 p.m. with awards for Girl Scout participants to follow. Fishing will be available along the Rock River in downtown Rockton, Illinois. Check-in and awards will be held outside of the log cabin behind the Rockton Community Center. All fishers need an Illinois fishing license purchased on their own prior to the event. Fishing licenses are available at https://www2.illinois.gov/dnr/lpr/pages/fishinglicensesfees.aspx. All youth must be accompanied by an adult attendee, and troops must provide proper child-to-adult ratios.
