Description
Rona has taught Bay Area adult art workshops for 15 years. As a painter and mixed media and clay artist, she specializes in acrylic painting, incorporating textures with various papers, gels, and mediums. Learn to apply metal leaf to your canvas and glaze it with acrylic paint in this mixed media workshop. You’ll create and collage simple images like butterflies, birds, and flowers using vibrant papers, or feel free to explore any image that inspires you! Enjoy demonstrations throughout the afternoon. Open to beginners and all skill levels, some materials like colorful papers and paint are included.

Supplies to bring: Two canvases or canvas boards no larger than 11"x14". You can bring two different size canvases. Imitation metal leaf: gold, silver or copper. You can bring two different colors of metal leaf. They come in packages and can be purchased at an art supply store or online on Amazon. 1" wide soft synthetic brush and 1" wide stiff synthetic brush with a short handle, smaller brushes if you have them, water container, paper towels, scissors. Optional: decorative rubber stamps, apron.
