Description
It’s that time of year again! Time to deck the halls and trim the tree—wait, what if there is no tree?! Did people in the past still decorate for the holidays? Join us at Oak View to learn what holiday decorations looked like before the Christmas tree became the holiday norm. For all ages; simple craft making activity included for all registered participants.
Upon arrival, participants should check in with park staff in the Farm History Center (our visitors center building). Please let us know in advance if you or anyone in your group requires accessibility modifications/ADA accommodations. As a courtesy to other participants, the waitlist and the instructor, if you find you have a change in plans and can no longer attend, please email oakview@wake.gov or call 919-250-1013.
