Get ready for an unforgettable evening under the enchanting glow of the full March Moon! As the Worm Moon rises, nature awakens in a symphony of sounds that will leave you spellbound. Picture this: you're standing in a serene landscape, and suddenly, you hear those distinctive nasal sounds echoing through the grass. Could it be? Yes! It’s the charming woodcock, also known as the timberdoodle!
As if by magic, a flappy shape zooms up into the twilight sky, whistling its melodic tune before diving back to the ground. This is your golden opportunity to witness and hear their unique courtship rituals—a thrilling experience that immerses you in their secretive world. Imagine being a worm-eating, wall-eyed daredevil for just one night!
Program Fee: $5.00 per personNon-Residents beginning December 16
