Description
Ages 18+
This workshop invites participants to create beautiful, meaningful family history scrapbooks by blending traditional Victorian scrapbooking techniques with modern methods. In the Victorian era, scrapbooking was a popular way to preserve memories, often using pressed flowers, postcards, newspaper clippings, and hand-drawn illustrations. Participants will learn these classic techniques, such as the art of layering memorabilia and creating decorative borders, while incorporating modern elements like digital photos, printed embellishments, and contemporary journaling styles. The result is a timeless, personalized scrapbook that preserves both family memories and historical connections, offering a perfect balance of old-world charm and modern creativity.
You need to bring your own photographs and anything else you might want to include in your scrapbook. Other supplies will be provided.
