About this event
Regional STEM literacy challenge for middle and high school students. At least wo of the student must be Petersburg, Virginia residents. The four-student team and their advisor select an area of community interest (climate change, storm water management, manufacturing workforce, renewable energy, etc.). The teams are to design and build a reasonable solution prototype to be presented before a panel of industry professionals to judges (based on the rubric included in this package. The prototypes will be displayed for the community on November 9, 2024. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top projects. This challenge will be judged by industry professionals.
