The Village of Park Forest, in partnership with the Park Forest Veterans Commission, invites the community to a special Veterans Day event dedicated to recognizing the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. This year’s gathering will pay tribute to veterans across the south suburban region and the unique stories of resilience and courage that live within our community.
The event will feature a ceremonial motorcycle run across parts of the Chicago southland area, remarks from local leaders, and a moment of reflection honoring the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. Attendees will also learn more about the Park Forest Veterans Commission initiative, which celebrates veterans through storytelling, outreach, and community connections. By bringing together families, veterans’ organizations, and residents, the celebration serves as a reminder that the strength of our community is built on the dedication of those who wore the uniform.
Registration will include:
- 1 Custom T-shirt per rider
- 1 Meal ticket per rider
- 2 Drink tickets, good at the post bar
- 1 Commemorative Challenge Coin
- 1 Village of Park Forest Swag Bag
Non-riders can buy meal only tickets for $25.
Must be 18 years or older with a valid license/motorcycle license.
The event is being hosted by the Veterans Commission. Pre-Registration is required.
