About this event
The class allows students to spend afternoons with Mr. Davis, exploring the campus through hiking and time in the woods. We'll go on walks, relax by the pond, and even make some nature-based crafts and art! We'll also read the "Henry" series by D.B. Johnson, which focuses on Henry, a transcendental bear who builds a cabin, goes on hikes, travels to a nearby town, and learns the value of work. The series is based on the exploits of Henry David Thoreau, and is a great companion to our time in the woods. If signing up for this class, please make sure you have appropriate outdoor gear at school (boots and a raincoat). Let's go exploring and see what we find! Instructor: Ron Davis
