Description
Did you know that spending time in nature has been shown to reduce physical and physiological stress levels? Inspired by shinrin-yoku, the Japanese art of immersing oneself in a forest environment, forest bathing walks invite you to relax and reconnect with nature. Join us as we engage with the forest environment by awakening or senses and learn about the science behind nature therapy. Dress for the weather and bring a blanket for extra warmth, if desired. You are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a small camping stool/chair, yoga mat, or towel to carry and use while sitting on the forest floor. Space is limited! For ages 12 and up. All participants (adults and children) must be registered. Meet at the Cypress Shelter.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and all participants (children and adults) must be registered in our online system.
