Semester Understanding: The language learner should able to understand questions and conversations about the following topics: Family, house and apartment hunting, job seeking and work-life, health and leisure time. Speaking: The language learner should be able to speak in simple sentences about the following topics: Family, house and apartment hunting, job seeking and work-life, health and leisure time. Reading: The language learner will be able to read short notes and texts in the course and work book relating to family, jobs, health, leisure time, and home life. Writing: The language learner should be able to write notes about certain topics like family, house and apartment hunting, job seeking and the work-life, health and leisure time. Grammar: The language learner should be familiar with possessive pronoun, seasons of the year, imperative, accusative, modal verbs, present perfect with sein and haben, past tense.
