Combines audio-visuals, lecture, and an open forum session to reveal the scientific and historical aspects of space technology. This presentation offers in-depth information ranging from the first unmanned satellite, “Sputnik,” to the present day “Space Shuttle.” Details pertaining to the construction of space crafts, the effects of weather, communications, medicine, electronics, and national defense will be covered in an effort to advance knowledge on the significance of space science as it relates to everyday life. Instructor is Aerospace Program Specialist, Ted Bethune.
