Description
Enjoy an evening under the stars hosted by the Mechanicsburg Borough Environmental Advisory Council and Mechanicsburg Area Recreation. Hear Native American star stories and see telescopic views of the astronomical wonders in our beautiful night sky. See live images of star clusters, galaxies, and nebula from telescopes and learn about the constellations. You are welcome to bring your own telescope and binoculars. Dress accordingly, as this is an outdoor program. Please keep flashlights to a minimum to preserve night vision for the other participants. We will meet at the Alison Ave entrance to Koser Park.
