About this event
Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Memoir WritingThis weekly class is designed for all levels of writers to share and listen to personal stories. Writing memoir provides an opportunity to explore an event or time in your life that can range from a moment in childhood to walking around your neighborhood block last night. Each week, everyone present has a chance to read their piece and receive positive reflections from the others in the group.
Memoir is a unique class where we share stories with the intention that each member feel safe, seen and heard. In order to create this safe space, we each agree to be honest and kind and to treat one another with courtesy and respect. Confidentiality is required to engender trust. If a member of Memoir would like to bring a guest, we ask that you let the group know ahead of time and if there are no objections, then they are welcome.
