Description
Muscle mass and strength are significantly correlated with healthy aging. This class provides an introduction to building lean muscle mass to power efficient movement, gain agility, eliminate joint pain, re-set metabolism and improve balance. Each class covers all key muscle groups using a variety of tools in standing and ground-based exercises. Modifications are provided for participants requiring chair or wall assistance, and beginning students may use bodyweight where needed. Equipment provided, but bring a mat if you have a favorite.
