Description
We're sorry, but online registration is not allowed for this activity. Please contact us during regular business hours for registration information.
Bring your curiosity and nature questions and join a naturalist for a casual stroll around the 1/2 mile Pin Oak loop, located in front of the Eagle Creek Earth Discovery Center. We'll look for signs of wildlife, identify plants, and explore changes in the seasons. Meets the first Friday of each month, 9am-10am.
The Pin Oak loop is compacted gravel, with some gentle slopes and one steeper paved slope up to the parking lot. Conditions may be icy or muddy in spring - wear comfortable shoes. For questions about accessibility or trail conditions please call 317-327-7148 or dawn.vandeman@indy.gov
The Earth Discovery Center opens to the public at 10am on Fridays - we will open briefly in the morning before the hike for restrooms. During spring there may be large field trip groups arriving around 10am.
