Description

We're sorry, but online registration is not allowed for this activity. Please contact us during regular business hours for registration information.

Grab your hiking boots and head to Eagle Creek Park for Books and Boots! The book for summer will be "Flow, Spin, Grow Looking for Patterns in Nature." We will read the book at the EDC shelter and then hit the trails to search for patterns.

There is no need to register. This program is free with park admission.

More info about Books and Boots:
Books and Boots takes place during school breaks and is a perfect “staycation” activity for those looking for some outdoor adventure. Come dressed for the weather and being outdoors.

Two Sessions:

Friday, December 20 (Pike and IPS may be the only ones on break)

Monday, December 30

Both sessions will be the same book, but nature is always changing.

Recommended for ages 5-9.
An adult must stay with their children for the duration of the program.

Weather Statement: If the temperatures are below 30 degrees, we will read the book in the exhibit hall of the Earth Discovery Center before hitting the trails.
