Want a little nature in your winter? Looking to explore the preserves? Get outside, trek the trails and enjoy the magic of the season! Join a naturalist at different forest preserves in Will County throughout January and February. This week, walk through the trees of Messenger Woods and learn about the abundant wildlife in this old-growth forest. Participate in one Winter Walkers or sign up for all eight!
Please dress for the weather and use caution while hiking given the possible wintery conditions. The hike will be 1 mile to 2 miles over uneven, natural terrain.
