Description
Take your valentine out for a romantic night hike under the stars. Snuggle up and join a naturalist for a stroll along a lantern-lit trail to enjoy the beauty of Messenger Woods and the company of your companion. Along the way, discover some of the courtship parallels between humans and nature. You may bring your own adult beverage to enjoy (beer and wine only, please). After your hike, cozy up to a blazing campfire and make s’mores.
The hike will be approximately 1 mile on natural, uneven terrain. Meet at Hawthorn Grove shelter in the back parking lot. Be sure to dress for the weather and trail conditions.
