All levels are welcome - The exact curriculum will be adjusted to the overall level of the group Embark on an exciting journey of chess mastery with our middle school Chess course! Geared towards both newcomers and experienced players, this class will take young enthusiasts to a more advanced level of play. After a thorough review of chess basics and in-depth exploration of strategic thinking, students will learn complex tactics and crucial concepts such as pawn structure, piece development, and center control will be emphasized, along with honing the ability to recognize and defend against common checkmate patterns. Guided by our skilled chess instructor, kids will engage in practice games, puzzles, and interactive lessons to elevate their proficiency. Students will be invited to participate in AlphaMinds' monthly chess tournaments that will further challenge and showcase their newfound skills, fostering intellectual growth and competitive spirit!
