ABOUT For Year 2 dancers or any Grades dancer seeking a recreational-style program. Students will take part in the same class as competitive Grades, following the same curriculum and goal timelines, but with less-stringent attendance expectations and no requirement to compete. EXPECTATIONS At this level, we have less-stringent attendance. All dancers will however be expected to start class on time with proper shoes, hair, attire. Respectful behavior and class participation is non-negotiable. Parents & guardians are required to intentionally and consistently role model and guide their dancers in positively contributing to our community. It is expected all registered dancers will participate in the year-end rehearsal & recital, the first or second week of June (dates to be confirmed). Information will be emailed once available. Rehearsal times fall Tuesday after school, Recital time falls Wednesday after school. Families are required to participate in fundraising and make every effort to attend all society meetings. REGISTRATION & CLASS FEES Registration fee includes the annual operational fee, registration admin fee, society membership fee, and recital costume fee. Required dance shoes, practice t-shirt & socks, and optional additional team merch are separate from registration and class fees. EQUIPMENT Practice shirts and socks can be ordered now through ACTIVE. Any plain black athletic shorts are acceptable for practice as long as they're above the knee. Please provide your dancer with a full and sizable water bottle for every practice (water only please). Snacks are not permitted in the dance room. Please review the provided Handbook for additional information.
