This one-day clinic is designed for swimmers ready to build on basic skills and progress towards independent, efficient swimming. Participants will review body position, rhythmic breathing, and practice proper freestyle and backstrokes techniques. Students will increase comfort and confidence as they gradually to tread, float, and swim in deeper water. *Class held in the diving well (3'6-10'6" of water).
Pre-requisitesMust be able to independently:
1. Submerge underwater and blow bubbles for 5-10 seconds2. Float on front and back for 5-10 seconds3. Glide and kick on front and back for 15ft4. Have basic knowledge of combined arm and leg motions to swim on front and back
